Our shoulders are very complex and contain many muscles, tendons, and ligaments used to stabilize them.  Therefore, it is very important to follow proper form and techniques while performing any shoulder exercises. It is also important to practice proper form for a calisthenic exercise which may indirectly affect the shoulder as well.

Which calisthenic exercises will help strengthen your shoulders?

Remember, not following proper procedures could potentially cause rotator cuff injuries and damage to ligaments which may set you back months of working out or worse – surgery.  Although injuries are quite possible with calisthenics the risks are mitigated due to the fact that you don’t use weights and are doing exercises which are more natural for your body.  You always have the choice of going easy on yourself.  Whereas with weight lifting, one wrong move can cause an injury.

Good luck!
