Question by jmccarter7386: What is the best way to get six-pack abs and tone the body?
I’ve just gotten back into working out, I have been doing it for almost a year now; my question is this, what is the best way to get a six-pack and tone the body as well? Would weight training or body-weight training work? I’m already on a diet and drink water. Here is my question again: what is the best way to get six-pack abs and tone the body as well?

  1. Is there a calisthenics equivalent to lifting 100 pounds…can it be mimiked calesthentically?

    • hi jamiel, sorry for the late reply. there are plenty of calisthenic exercises you can do to mimic weights. mimicking exactly 100 pounds would depend on which part of your body youre working out and there really is no way to tell if your putting on exaclty 100 pounds of resistance for any calisthenic workout. i assure you many repetitions of pushups, pullups, and squat variations will be enough to make you feel like 100 pounds is easy :) check out our pages on the left column and try some of the variations for each workout. hope that helps
